Often the first response to a car accident is confusion. Most people are in shock after an auto collision. A lot of people don’t even realize they are injured until hours later.

Whiplash is one of the most common injuries due to a motor vehicle accident. Whiplash happens when the joints and muscles in your neck are injured because of a sudden movement backward and then forward. But in addition to neck pain, people can also suffer from mid back pain, low back pain, pinched nerves, arm and leg pain and headaches as a result of auto accidents.

If you have been injured in a car accident, being evaluated by a chiropractor is a great way to start the recovery. Chiropractic treatment for whiplash isn’t like taking a pill. Pain medication may help you sleep, but it does nothing to correct the joint, muscle, ligament and nerve problems. Chiropractic care does.
